Blended Learning in Technical and vocational education and training (TVET)
Integrating technology is absolutely critical for scaling up both the quality and relevance of TVET provision, specifically as a means to bridge the burgeoning skills gap. The project aims to develop national action plans and a Regional Collaborative Framework for Blended TVET, aimed at strengthening skills ecosystems across Commonwealth Asia.
The project brings together policymakers, institutional heads, and experts from Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, India, Malaysia, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka to chart a roadmap for scalable, inclusive, and future-ready skills development in the TVET sector. The Stakeholder Consultation on Blended Learning in TVET was held in Bangladesh on 5 May 2025, and the regional Consultative Meeting was held from 6-7 October 2025 in Chennai, India.
