While AI offers immense potential to enhance productivity and innovation, it also poses significant challenges, particularly for workers in the informal sector who may lack the skills and knowledge to adapt to these technological changes. Recognising this, CEMCA collaborated with Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) and INRIA-Paris to implement a ground-breaking project aimed at spreading AI literacy among informal sector workers in India. It also aligns with GPAI’s Future of Work stream, which focuses on preparing the workforce for the challenges and opportunities presented by AI.
